Bikes in the park 2016
.What a great turnout of bikes, stands clubs and spectators at our Bikes in The Park show, blessed with great weather at last!
I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the KDMC members who worked hard all weekend to get the show under way and kept it going & running without a hitch.
It WAS a team effort, and the credit goes to the Club for our part in making it a success.
Thanks are due to all of the trophy sponsors who gave awards in the various categories, all very much appreciated by the winners!
Those who brought their bikes for display in the show should be commended for the quality of their machines.... truly amazing!
We are indebted to the Council for the use of the Park and equipment and the staff for their help.
The Fife Free Press and their staff have been a great help in promoting and advertising our event, continuing a long association with the KDMC.....Thank you Tanya Scoon!
The staff at the Kirkcaldy Rugby Football Club worked hard to keep up with the demand for refreshments, thanks to all for their enthusiasm!
We were delighted to see the various bike clubs turn out to give their support, it was your show too so you should be pleased.
The team from Fife Scouts came along and erected the marquee on Saturday, and dropped it and packed away on Sunday, all fuss free and smiling and we are indebted to them for their help yet again.
We hope that the spectators who turned up enjoyed the day and might return next year, and to the 600 plus motorcycle and trike riders who rode in to visit we offer a massive thanks for their turnout....what a display of bikes parked up on the roadway in the Park!
Trophy winners photos will appear here soon and I'll add details as the images appear.
Many thanks to you all!
